Kalinio is an assistive communication app (AAC – Augmentative and Alternative Communication) for people who are unable to speak or can only speak to a limited extent due to a neurological condition or injury. The app allows users to select letters, numbers, words and help requests using different input methods: • Mouse click or external switches • Tongue click • Mouth opening detected by the device camera • Sticking out the tongue, also detected by the device camera The selected content is then spoken aloud.
