Kami Chess

Kami Chess is chess on a 3D board, with light boxwood and dark walnut pieces. Play a friend on one iPhone or iPad, play against the computer, or play other people online with a Kami Chess account. From the menu you choose which side the computer plays, White or Black, and how strongly it plays: Gentle, Steady or Strong. Playing • Tap a piece and the squares it can move to light up. Tap one of them to move there. • Drag with one finger to turn the board, and pinch to zoom in and out. • A pawn that reaches the last rank offers four pieces on the board: tap the one you want. • The status line says whose move it is, when the computer is thinking, who won by checkmate and why a game was drawn. • Undo takes back a move.
