Klar German explains German in English — and asks exactly as much as it takes to remember. WHAT IS DIFFERENT HERE Noun gender is what adults stumble over the longest. Here it is not a note beside a word but a dimension of its own: one word is up to eight independent cards. Recognise it, write it, recall its gender, recall its plural, assemble a sentence from tiles, hear it and pick it out, choose haben or sein, put the article in the right case. The scheduler sees every card separately. You can recognise a word confidently and keep failing its gender — the app notices that and strikes exactly there. A MISTAKE IS WHERE THE EXPLANATION BELONGS When the word order goes wrong, the app does not say "incorrect".
