About Labelscope
Labelscope turns your camera into a search tool for ingredient labels. Add the words you want to watch for — "palm oil", "milk", "sesame", anything you choose — then point your camera at an ingredient list. Labelscope reads the label as you go and draws a red box around any of your words the moment they appear on screen. No typing the ingredients out. No squinting at four-point print in a supermarket aisle. KNOWS WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE ACTUALLY CALLED Labels rarely use the word you have in mind. Add "milk" and Labelscope also looks for whey, casein and lactose. Add "peanut" and it looks for groundnut. Add "wheat" and it looks for gluten and semolina — while correctly ignoring "buckwheat", which is a different thing entirely. Multi-word entries work too, so "tree nuts" finds what it should instead of matching nothing. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Everything happens live — no photo to…
