Levinfield

Know when to clear the field. And when to go back. Levinfield watches the places you care about for nearby lightning, using detection data from the NOAA GOES-19 weather satellite. When a strike lands inside your set radius, it tells you to clear the area and starts a countdown. Every new strike resets it. Built for the person who has to make the call in front of thirty people. WHAT IT DOES • Watches saved fields, pools, and parks for detected lightning • Alerts when a strike lands within your radius, 8 miles by default • Runs a countdown to all-clear that resets on every new strike • Shows distance and bearing to every detection on a range scope • Reports observed storm movement from detected flashes • Optional weather radar and satellite map view • Keeps a timestamped log of every hold and all-clear • Relays National Weather Service forecasts and severe weather alerts WHAT IT DOES NOT…
