Some eye conditions can block areas in your vision. One example is Macular Degeneration. You may not be aware of this because the brain fills in blocked areas. But you can miss things, causing a safety hazard or difficulty in activities such as reading. The Macular Trainer app helps you with two things: - See if this might be an issue for you. - Practice skills to find blocked objects faster. Scanning your visual field can help overcome this problem. Scanning moves a hidden object into areas that you see, so you can quickly find it. For example, a stop sign or an object in your walking path may be in a blocked area. Scanning your gaze a bit can make it visible.
