MaLea Vision

MaLea Vision uses a compatible eye-controlled communication device as an input method for controlling the power wheelchair. The existing gaze control is translated into smooth, proportional driving commands, enabling intuitive indoor mobility. Communication and driving are controlled through the same familiar user interface without requiring an additional separate eye control. The solution is designed for people with severe motor impairments who can reliably use eye movement, for example people with cerebral palsy or ALS. MaLea Vision supports iOS- and Windows-based communication devices, providing a choice of systems. Additional wheelchair functions, such as seat adjustments, can also be accessed through the same intuitive user interface. As part of the MaLea Platform, Vision can be combined with other compatible control solutions.
