Matrubhasha (मातृभाषा, "mother tongue") is a tap-and-hear picture book that helps toddlers learn their first words in Hindi, Gujarati or Malayalam, at home with you. Choose a language, and the book has 11 pages and 106 cards: • Numbers: 0 to 10, then 20, 30, 40, 50 and 100 • 90 everyday words: animals, fruits, food, the body, family, vehicles, things at home, clothes, colours and nature Tap a picture to hear it. Four buttons choose what your child hears: • Say it: the word or number, slowly and clearly • Sentence: a simple sentence, such as "यह सेब है।" (This is an apple.) • Do it: something to do together, such as "अपनी नाक छुओ!" (Touch your nose!), or counting along: "एक, दो, तीन!" • Discover: a little fact, such as "नानी, माँ की माँ हैं।" (Nani is mother's mother.)
