You are the signal operator at a sunbaked desert junction in 1936, and the timetable does not wait. Trains roll in wearing coloured liveries, and your only job is to tap the brass switches ahead of them so each one reaches the platform whose awning matches — before two of them meet on the same stretch of rail. Seventy-two hand-built runs are laid out across six divisions, from the single junction of Copper Flats to the full board at Bitterroot Yard. Each division introduces one new idea and then makes you live with it: a crossing diamond where two lines meet, trestle gates that swing shut on a timer, holding sidings where you can park a service and release it when the road is clear, and a three-way turntable at the head of Vermilion Pass.
