Mewgshot: Campus Cats

Mewgshot is a shared record of the cats that live on campus, kept by the people who look out for them. Point your camera at a cat. Mewgshot works out whether it’s a cat everyone already knows, and if it is, logs that you saw it. If it isn’t, you give it a name and a card. Every cat has a card: its photographs, where it’s been seen, the block it calls home, its tags, and reviews from the keepers who know it. Grade a cat and its CGPA moves. Pet it or feed it, and the card shows when it last had a meal, so the next keeper knows. The campus map shows where the cats have been seen. Once a season, each block elects one of its cats as mayor. Scans work without signal. A sighting made offline waits on your phone and saves itself when you’re back online. Your exact location is never shown to anyone: other keepers see only the campus block.
