Murano Nights

Night has fallen over Murano. The furnace is glowing, and the patrons of Venice are waiting for their glass. Murano Nights is a glassblowing timing game. A blowpipe turns over the furnace, and a gather of molten glass hangs from its end. Behind it, a patron's order is drawn in chalk. Your job is to blow the glass into that shape before it cools. BLOW, REHEAT, SHAPE • Hold the top of the screen to blow. Every ring of glass that is still hot swells, and the hotter rings swell faster. • Glass cools every second, so hold the furnace mouth to lower the gather back into the fire. The tip heats first and the neck heats last. • A long breath rounds out a belly. A quick puff raises only the hottest ring and leaves a rib. • Swell a ring too far and the piece bursts. • Tap Finish when the glass matches the chalk, or the piece is cut as it is when the 45-second timer runs out.
