Music Tools: Chord Detector

Hear a song. Find its chords. Make it your next practice session. Music Tools turns your own audio recordings and imported files into a chord chart you can play along with. Record with the microphone, import from Files or share a recording from Voice Memos. Analysis runs on your iPhone, without an account or a cloud upload. FIND THE CHORDS • Detect chord changes, estimate the musical key and tempo. • Follow the chord timeline while the recording plays. • Check confidence indicators and correct a chord when the estimate needs help. • Try the included demo before allowing microphone access. MAKE IT PLAYABLE • Transpose a chart into a more comfortable key. • Try capo positions or simplify chords for practice. • Tap a chord for guitar, ukulele or piano diagrams. • Slow playback and loop a difficult passage. • Keep recordings and analyses together in your personal songbook.
