My Soliloquy

Speak for a few minutes and read back an essay in your own words. Soliloquy writes down what you say, then edits it. Your words appear on screen as you talk. Live guesses are shown separately from finalized words, and the finished transcript is tidied for reading. When you tap End, the app works back through the session and returns it as a titled essay in paragraphs. Nothing you say leaves your iPhone. There is no sign-in and no server. HOW IT WORKS While you speak, on-device speech recognition turns your words into text. Partial results let you follow along as recognition settles. When you finish, a language model running on your iPhone edits the transcript into prose. A last pass gives the essay its title. If polishing is interrupted, saved progress lets you resume.
