Nebula-X Strategy game

Nebula-X is a 21st century strategy game for two players, designed by Toon Leijtens. Each side commands a small fleet on a 6×6 board: a Star, Drones, Crosses, Triangles, Balls and Bars. Every piece attacks and defends in its own directions, so how you point it matters as much as where you put it. • Move, rotate or swap your pieces each turn • Capture enemy pieces next to you, or zap them from a distance • Shield your pieces with walls facing the right way • Your Star cannot be captured – zap the enemy Star to win The clock is the Nebula itself: after a set number of actions the outer ring collapses, destroying everything on it and shrinking the battle to the centre. Every wasted swap brings the collapse closer.
