Cities appear under their Kurdish names first — never overridden by map-provider labels — alongside Sorani script and common alternative names, grouped into the four regions of Bakur, Başûr, Rojava and Rojhilat. A dated historical layer, Dîrok, holds 25 sourced entries from Tell Halaf to UNESCO listings.
