You already know what you are trying to avoid. The hard part is that it hides behind twenty other names. Not For Me holds the words that matter to you — gluten, palm oil, added sugar, seed oils, whatever yours are — and expands each one into the ingredient names it travels under. Search a product and those words are marked right inside the ingredient list, where you can see them in context instead of trusting a badge. WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT No score. No grade. No opinion about whether a food is good for you. Other apps decide what healthy means and rank products against it; this one only checks the rules you wrote. It also never goes online: the whole US food database ships inside the app, so there is no account to make, no server to trust, and it works in a basement aisle with no signal.
