Most translator apps quietly need a server. Offlingo doesn't have one. Nothing you type ever leaves your iPhone, because there is nowhere for it to go. Download a language pair once and it works with the radio completely off. WHY THERE IS NOTHING TO LEAK Offlingo translates on the device, using the translation engine built into iOS. The app has no networking code of its own. No account to create, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier, no crash reporter, no third-party SDKs. It asks for no permissions until you tap Speak, and then only for the microphone and speech recognition, both used on the iPhone itself. The audio is never saved or sent. Not the camera, not photos, not contacts, not location. This is not a policy promise you have to take on trust. It is a consequence of how the app is built.
