Otakana is a word game about anime. Every answer is a character name or a term from the genre, and you spell it out one guess at a time. There are four ways to play, a monthly leaderboard, and no account to make. FOUR MODES Daily. One puzzle a day for everyone, resetting at 00:00 UTC. Win or lose, it locks until the next reset and you get a spoiler-free grid to share. Your streak counts consecutive daily wins. Classic. Play as many puzzles as you like at easy, normal, or hard. Easy runs short 4 and 5 letter answers, hard runs 6 to 8 letters and deeper cuts. Each difficulty keeps its own best run. Fever. A timed unscramble. The letters sit on a ring of discs, you tap them into the slots, and a gold arc counts down. Solve the name and the clock resets for the next one. Score is how many you get before the time runs out.
