Pause for Paws

Pause for Paws warns you, by voice, when you're entering a stretch of Iowa road with a documented history of animal-vehicle crashes. Built by a student robotics team using the state's own crash records — updated regularly — the app groups crashes into corridors so you can see where drivers keep hitting animals, before you drive through. Tap "Play a test alert" anytime to hear how it sounds — no driving or location access required to try it. This is historical pattern analysis, not live animal detection — Pause for Paws never claims an animal is currently on the road. It's a reminder to slow down where it's mattered before.
