Perfect Strain

The year is 3023, and Earth has been abandoned. Energy consumption and the mass harvesting of natural resources have caused the Earth’s surface to become completely uninhabitable, forcing humanity to begin colonizing space. Despite the Earth’s condition, some humans wish to return home, to the planet of their ancestors. Taking on the role of a microbiologist, the player has been sent back to the planet to begin cleaning its surface for resettlement through the use of pollution consuming bacteria. Perfect Strain is a real-time strategy game designed to help teach concepts of evolution. Players learn about natural selection, selection pressure, mutations, genetic variation, and genetic fitness while also dispelling various misconceptions about what evolution is.
