Periplum is where your places stay. Each trip gets its own catalog: restaurants, beaches, trails, whatever you want to note down, with a note, photos and the map. The quick capture widget — Home Screen, Lock Screen, Control Center — and Siri open the entry sheet already on the current trip, without going through the app. Apple Maps shows the places; the illustrated view puts the pins on the trip's background, with no cartography. Photos stay in the app — a copy at 2048 px or smaller, without asking for your whole library.
