About Photo Backup to USB - BackNest
BackNest copies photos and videos from your iPhone to a USB drive, SD card, or portable hard drive. Files are saved on your storage, in a “media backup” folder you can open on a computer. Backup • Copy originals to USB or SD you control • Choose any folder on the connected drive • Resume if the drive unplugs or the copy is interrupted • Optional: download iCloud originals after local files • Optional: Hidden album, and media from On My iPhone • Restore from the same drive back into Photos (Premium) How it works 1. Allow Photos access (full access for a complete backup) 2. Review library totals. Open Backup settings if you need iCloud originals, Hidden album, or On My iPhone 3.
