Pip and Friends

Pip is a very small fish in an ocean that is mostly bigger fish. Swim, eat, and grow. Every orb you swallow banks a level and makes you a little larger — and every level puts something new within reach, and something else out of it. The ocean stocks itself around you: mostly prey, a few equals, and always a couple of things that would be delighted to find you. Get eaten and the orbs you banked spill back into the water. You can start over, or take one of two second chances and carry the same run forward. Survive long enough and a star drops somewhere in the arena. It is usually further than you can see, so follow the compass — and hope nothing follows you.
