Plant Scanner – Plant ID

Plant Scanner identifies plants from a photo and collects every identification in a digital herbarium on your iPhone or iPad. PHOTO AND IDENTIFICATION • Take a photo with the camera or pick one from your photo library • Identification through the Pl@ntNet interface, called via a proxy server • Result list with the scientific name, the common name (when available) and a confidence value in percent • Up to 20 identification requests per device per day DIGITAL HERBARIUM • Every identification you save stays in the herbarium, on the device • Detail view with photo, scientific name, confidence, family and genus • Family and genus come from the Pl@ntNet identification result GARDEN MAP • Mark the spots where you found a plant on a map – school garden, flower bed or a walk • Location is only recorded if you grant access; identification works the same way without it PRIVACY • Photos and…
