Platen

Platen is a writing app that lets you write. No AI. No project templates. No corkboards. Nothing to configure. Create your chapters and get on with it. Your book, easy to navigate: Your book is a list of chapters. Create them, rename them, reorder them, and jump straight to the one you want. Search the whole book when you know a line is in there somewhere, and watch the word count climb as you write. Plot and character notes stay with the book. Chapter notes stay with the chapter. Everything is where you would expect it to be. Your work, kept safe: Every keystroke is saved as you go. Start a chapter on your phone and carry on at your desk. Your writing stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account. There's no Platen account to create, no server holding your manuscript, and nobody else can read it. Including us. Ready when you are: Export a clean manuscript as PDF or plain text…
