Polity: Local Politics

Most people can name their president and not one of the seven people who decide whether their street gets repaved. Polity is built to fix that for Colorado. SEE WHO REPRESENTS YOU Search an address, or use your location, and Polity maps every layer of government over it: your city council, school board, county commission, state house and senate districts, and congressional district. Tap any official to see their seat, their term, whether they are termed out, and who has announced against them. FOLLOW THE PLACES YOU ACTUALLY LIVE IN Follow any Colorado town, county, or school district. All 178 school districts are in here, not just the big ones. Then pick the subjects you care about: budgets, taxes, elections, ethics, housing, transit, public safety, schools, water, and more. Your feed becomes the intersection of the two. KNOW BEFORE IT HAPPENS, NOT AFTER Polity reads published agendas…
