Plan your sewing and quilting cuts and know how much fabric to buy before you cut. Start from one of 10 ready-made projects in your size, from cushion covers and curtains to an elastic-waist skirt, or enter your own pieces. Cutfit places every piece across the fabric width, keeps cut-on-fold pieces on the fold and works out the length on single or folded fabric, with seam allowance, selvage and grain direction. Mark pieces as main fabric, lining or interfacing, and each fabric gets its own length and layout. Add a price per yard to see an estimated cost. Quilt mode works out backing, binding strips and batting. Keep your fabrics in the stash and add leftovers after measuring them. Work in inches or centimeters and type fractions such as 1 1/2.
