About Racconto
Racconto tells you about the places you pass while driving. A river, a village, an old mill, a battlefield: as you approach, a voice tells you its story, in a few sentences or a full chapter. TRUE STORIES Every story is written from Wikipedia and official heritage registers (Québec, Canada, United States, France, New Zealand). Nothing is made up, and the sources are always one tap away. Stories in prepared trips are also checked again against their sources. MADE FOR THE ROAD No screen to look at. Racconto speaks between songs, steps aside for navigation prompts, and works with the screen locked and in CarPlay. Siri starts, skips or expands a story. YOUR WAY 27 topics (history, nature, architecture, legends, famous people…), story length, tone (informative, playful, calm or humorous), and how often, from a few an hour to non-stop. Stories made for kids. PREPARED TRIPS, OFFLINE Pick a…
