Rakaat Counter: Muslim Prayer

Rakaat Counter helps you keep track of how many rakaat you have prayed, without looking at a screen. Start a prayer, put your iPhone in your front trouser pocket or a thigh holster, and pray as usual. After each completed rakaa, your phone gives a gentle vibration that tells you the number. HOW IT WORKS • Enter your height once so the app can scale movements to your body. • Your iPhone's motion sensors follow standing, ruku, sujood and sitting. • A rakaa is counted when you rise from the second sujood after a ruku. • All motion is processed on your device. Nothing is uploaded. FEEL THE COUNT • 1 to 4 taps for rakaat 1 to 4, a long buzz for 5, and a long buzz plus taps for 6 to 9. • Feel every pattern during setup so you know them before you pray. • Optional Allahu Akbar sound after each rakaa (earbuds recommended). • A distinct buzz when you reach the target count for your prayer.
