Readeem turns reading into screen time. You choose which apps are locked. Your child unlocks them by reading, and by answering questions about what they actually read. Minutes are earned rather than given. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose which apps to lock, and set a PIN. Only you can change either. 2. Your child starts a reading session and reads: a paper book, an ebook, or the passage built into Readeem. 3. Readeem reads along, then asks a few questions at the end. 4. Answers earn minutes. Minutes unlock the apps you locked. MINUTES ARE SPENT AS USAGE, NOT AS CLOCK TIME Fifteen earned minutes means fifteen minutes of actually using the apps. Put the iPad down and the minutes wait.
