Real-Time Chess

Real-Time Chess turns classic chess into a live contest. There are no alternating turns. Both players can move whenever their own three-second cooldown is ready, so the board is always changing and every decision matters. Play standard chess with the rules you know: legal moves, checks, checkmate, and the full board. The difference is tempo. Move quickly to build pressure, or take longer and risk giving your opponent the initiative. Play your way: • Practise against the on-device computer at 13 estimated strengths from 400 to 2800.
