Chess, but every run is a new campaign. Rookspire is a chess roguelike: a turn-based strategy game in which you lead a small chess army up a ruined spire. Every fight is a short tactical puzzle on a 3D board: capture the enemy king or wipe out its army, then choose your next path on the map.
