Rotate E6B Flight Computer

An E6B that shows its work. Rotate E6B Flight Computer does every calculation a mechanical E6B does — and then opens the result to show you the formula and each step with the numbers you entered, so you can check it instead of trusting it. That is the part a plastic disc and most apps leave out, and it is the part you need when you are learning. WHAT IT CALCULATES • Wind triangle: ground speed, wind correction angle, true heading • Unknown wind, from heading, course and the two speeds • True and magnetic heading, with variation and deviation • Time, speed and distance — to the second, not rounded to the minute • Fuel burn, endurance and required fuel • Crosswind and headwind components • Pressure altitude, density altitude and true altitude • True airspeed from indicated • Rate of descent and top of descent • Cloud base and freezing level • Weight and balance: moments, centre of gravity…
