You already suspect some of them, but standing in the aisle deciding, the nutrition label doesn't help much, and the ingredient list helps even less. Rotuz reads the barcode and gives the product a score from 0 to 100. It also tells you why: what dragged the score down, what held it up, and what the label left out when it leaves something out. The score comes from three things. The nutrition side uses Nutri-Score 2023. How processed the product is comes from the NOVA classification. Additives go through our own review, with a source on every entry. The weights, the band cutoffs and the sources are all published at rotuz.salvesoftware.com/methodology, so if you think we got it wrong, you can see exactly where.
