Schools are banning phones. For a student with type 1 diabetes, the phone is how their CGM alarms reach them. safeT1D School Mode lets the phone stay in class by turning it into a medical-and-family device during school hours. DURING SCHOOL HOURS • Only the apps you choose stay open: the CGM app, the insulin pump app and parent contacts. • Everything else waits behind a friendly "resting until 3:00" screen. • School Mode turns on and off by itself on the days and hours you set. FOR YOUR CHILD • A simple home screen: is School Mode on, when it ends, and which apps still work. • One big "Ask a grown-up" button to request a change. No settings to fiddle with.
