It simply provides access to opinions and orders that are public records.* --- The app has four tabs: Decisions, Judges, Favorites, and Settings. The Decisions tab lists all Second Circuit decisions since April 4, 2007, to the present. You can filter by year or a year range; published opinion versus summary order; civil versus criminal; author; the entity from which the appeal originates; and, if the appeal is taken from a district court, the judge below. Clicking on a case brings up a page that lists relevant information. You can also view the slip opinion version of the decision in PDF form.
