Sedma, the way it is played at a Czech kitchen table: with the 32-card German-suited deck, by the book, two-handed or four-handed with partners sitting opposite. • The rules as the rulebook gives them. Burnt in hand and burnt on the table, the obligation to follow two of a rank, ten points for the last trick. Every rule can be switched off. • Nobody can see your cards. The other players, your partner included, know only what is on the table — their own hand, the rank that was led and what has already been played. • One set of rules for everyone. A card the computer may play, you may play too — and the other way round. • Your partner plays with you, not against you.
