Shuny Shade: Sun Planner

Choose where to plant, sit, or buy with clear-sky direct-sun estimates for each spot in a garden, patio, home, or rental. Shuny Shade estimates clear-sky direct sun for a chosen spot using its approximate location and recorded obstruction horizon. Use a guided camera sky scan on a supported iPhone or iPad, or use the manual horizon editor on any supported device. Shuny Shade combines that horizon with the sun’s changing path to estimate direct-sun hours for every month of the year. PLAN PLANTS AROUND THE LIGHT Turn “it seems sunny” into a useful month-by-month view. When an estimate is available, Shuny Shade shows seasonal light categories such as Full Sun, Part Sun, Part Shade, Full Shade, or Borderline. Use them to make better-informed choices about beds, containers, vegetables, flowers, and other plantings. LIGHT ISN’T ALWAYS A SIMPLE YES OR NO Some locations sit near the line…
