Simply Sky

Simply Sky is a free iPhone app for exploring the stars, planets, and constellations around you. Point your iPhone to see what is in that direction. Search for objects, save favorites, and find suggestions for what is up now or later tonight. Freeze the map to look around, or preview the next twelve hours and follow an object across the sky. Choose the Classic or Dreamscape appearance, or turn on the optional camera view. Sky positions are calculated on your iPhone, with no account or internet connection needed. You can also share a sky map without including camera images or your location coordinates.
