Skirmish: Tactical Battles

Lead a band of heroes across an island overrun by monsters, and take it back one region at a time. BUILD YOUR HEROES FROM CARDS Every hero is a stack of cards: a species, a role and a background, each drawn from three on offer. Together they decide your hero's traits, skills and equipment, and build the decks of features and actions they'll draw on. No two parties play the same way. FIGHT TACTICAL BATTLES Each encounter is a turn-based battle on a grid. Take up to five heroes, roll initiative, and play your actions: move, strike, cast, hide and outflank. The ground matters too. Water shelters you from fire but carries lightning and poison to everyone standing in it; cold turns it to ice, and fire melts it back. CONQUER THE ISLAND The island is split into regions, each with its own monsters, its own number of encounters, and its own reward for taking it. Choose where to strike next, sail…
