Skittle 50

Skittle 50 is a score-attack game: knock down pins numbered 1 to 12 with a thrown baton and reach exactly 50 points. Your phone is the baton. Arm, snap your wrist, and the strength and angle of your swing decide where it flies. ■ Simple rules • Knock down one pin: score its number • Knock down two or more: score the number of pins • Exactly 50 wins. Go over and you drop back to 25 • Three misses in a row and it's game over • Fallen pins stand back up right where they landed, so the field keeps spreading out ■ Ways to play • Solo: how few throws do you need?
