one thumb flies and fires. sky fury: pacific war is a vertical arcade shooter for iphone and ipad. fly a p-38 lightning through 25 stages in five acts, with eight aircraft bosses and five strike missions. the art is painterly, and the soundtrack's five act songs take turns, one per stage. fly by instinct • drag to fly. your guns fire while your finger is on the screen. • collect weapon upgrades through six tiers, plus bombs and shields. • enemy rounds are outlined, streaked and coloured by kind, and enemy aircraft flash as they shoot. • a round that crosses your plane without hitting its middle is a graze, worth 50 points. • on strike missions, destroy a set number of targets before they scroll past. your hangar after every stage, win or lose, your score earns supply. the first stage clear of each day earns double. spend it in the hangar, where your own p-38 stands as a 3d model…
