Slope Minder is a hand-drawn map of the mountain for planning the trip, and a way for a family or a group of friends to keep track of each other once they are on it. THE MAP Every resort is drawn the way a good trail map is painted: the runs, the lifts, the trees, and the buildings. Unlike the paper one, you can turn it, tilt it, and look down a run before you drop in. Tap a run for its length, vertical, steepest pitch, and which way it faces. Tap a lift for its ride time and capacity. Send a run to a friend and it opens on their map. It is at its best on iPad and on iPhone Duo open.
