SM Readmate

SM Readmate is an ebook reader for blind and low-vision readers. It is developed by Sao Mai Center for the Blind, a nonprofit organization that has served the visually impaired community in Vietnam for many years, and it is built and tested hand in hand with the blind students who use it every day. Where most reading apps treat the screen as the book, SM Readmate treats the voice as the book. Every screen, control, and reading feature is designed for Apple's VoiceOver screen reader first, so a blind reader can install the app and use all of it — not just some of it — without sighted help.
