SnapToSeat records classroom attendance without a roll call. Your instructor puts a marker board on the screen at the front of the room. You scan the QR code in the middle of it, photograph the board from where you are sitting, and type the four-digit number showing on screen. That is the whole check-in, and it takes about fifteen seconds. Because the photo is taken from your seat, the app can also work out roughly where in the room you were sitting — so your instructor gets a seating map of the class rather than just a list of names. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan the QR code in the middle of the board to join the session. 2. Photograph the whole board from your seat.
