View the matched cell’s distance, direction, movement, and confidence assessment. A direction match does not identify the visible cloud or measure the distance to the edge of rain. Refresh local lightning information and government-issued alerts independently, even when no storm matches. Expand alerts to read their text, source, issue time, and expiry, and open official NWS information. Weather results are snapshots and can become outdated.
