Super Speed: Card Race

Both decks go down at once. There are no turns. Super Speed is a real-time card race. You and your opponent each deal four cards face up, and the moment they land, every matching rank on the table is live. Cover them. Whoever gets rid of their deck first wins. The catch is where you put the card. Play onto your own pile and you just buy yourself a fresh top card — it comes back to you later. Play onto theirs and the card is gone for good, and they have to pick it up. That trade is the whole game. ONE RANK AT A TIME The moment you cover a card you are committed to that rank, and every copy of it on the table has to be buried before you can touch anything else. Piles you are locked out of go dim. Choose badly and you spend cards you never get rid of. READ THE OTHER SIDE Whatever your opponent has committed to is ringed in gold.
