TactileProof

TactileProof is a prepress inspection tool designed for braille transcribers, special education teachers, accessible educational material teams, museums, and tactile graphic designers. Before the graphic is embossed, die-cut, or produced on foamboard, TactileProof helps you check whether lines, textures, labels, and spaces may be difficult to recognize by touch. After importing vector graphics, tactile meanings can be assigned to each line and area, with spacing rules applied for different processes such as embossing, foamboard, thermoforming, and UV die-cutting. Overlapping intersections are scanned with actual finger width, braille label spacing is planned, and a visual proofreading test is conducted.
