TapCab

For generations, if you wanted a Norwich black cab, you walked to your nearest licensed taxi rank and found a taxi waiting for you. But traditional taxi ranks are becoming fewer, and the way people find transport has changed. So we’ve taken the taxi rank and put it in the cloud. TapCab brings the traditional Norwich taxi rank directly to your phone. Open the app and see participating available Norwich black cabs on a live map — wherever they happen to be across the city. Tap a cab, see the driver and vehicle details, and contact the driver directly. There is no need to give TapCab your card details or unnecessary personal information. TapCab simply connects the passenger with the local black cab driver. It’s the traditional taxi rank, modernised for the digital age. The rank hasn’t disappeared. It’s moved into your pocket.
