TapTrain

TapTrain is a vertical endless runner with one rule: you can't steer. A traveller runs a procedurally generated route up the screen at a steady pace. Ring-shaped gates sit along the way. Your only control is when you tap - centre the traveller in the ring and it passes clean through. There's more than one kind of gate to read at a glance: Standard gates - tap when the traveller's centred, nothing more to it. One-sided gates - open from only one side of the route. Hold gates - press and hold through the whole crossing, not just tap. Passenger gates - a passenger walks the route's edge as the traveller approaches; tap while it's over the gate to pick it up. Danger gates - get this one wrong and it costs more than a miss. No steering, no lanes to jump between - just the route, the gates, and your sense of when. Every run draws its own route from a fresh seed, so no two runs play the same.
